Custom-Cut Gemstone Deposit Terms & Conditions
1) Stone Sourcing & Authorisation
When you ask me to source and purchase a gemstone on your behalf (including a gemstone being custom cut), you authorise me to place the order with the cutter/supplier once your stone deposit has been paid. This order is placed specifically for you and is not stock jewellery.
2) Stone Deposit (Non-Refundable)
Your stone deposit is a payment towards the cost of sourcing and purchasing the gemstone and any associated costs (including, where applicable, custom cutting fees, shipping, import duties/taxes, and supplier charges).
Once I have placed the order, the stone deposit is non-refundable.
3) Cancellation / Change of Mind
Because the gemstone is being purchased and/or custom cut specifically for you, you do not have the option to cancel for a refund once the order has been placed. If you choose not to proceed after I have ordered the gemstone, you remain responsible for the stone costs already committed.
4) If You Decide Not to Proceed
If you decide not to proceed with the jewellery project after the gemstone has been ordered/cut, one of the following will apply:
a) Stone transfer to you
You may pay any outstanding balance relating to the gemstone (and any costs incurred), and I will provide the stone to you once paid in full.
b) Resale attempt (no guarantee)
If you do not wish to take the gemstone, I may (at my discretion) attempt to resell it. Please note resale is not guaranteed and may take time. If the gemstone is successfully resold, any amount returned to you (if any) will be limited to the resale proceeds minus any costs incurred by me (including the stone deposit amount, supplier/cutting fees, shipping, listing/transaction fees, and time/administration).
5) Stone Variations & Approval
Gemstones may show inclusions, colour zoning, and variation in tone depending on lighting. For custom cuts, measurements and weight may vary slightly from estimates. You acknowledge these are normal characteristics and not faults.
6) Supplier Returns / Faults
Custom-cut gemstones are typically non-returnable once cutting has begun. If the stone arrives with a confirmed fault or damage that is accepted by the supplier/cutter, I will support you in raising this with them. Any refund/credit will be strictly subject to the supplier’s decision and policy.
7) Acceptance of These Terms
Payment of the stone deposit confirms you have read and accepted these terms.

I work with carefully curated stone specifications for my made-to-order designs, which allows me to choose a diamond that suits the ring beautifully while maintaining the quality standard of the collection.
In some cases, yes. If you’re interested in a different centre stone size or type, you’re welcome to get in touch for available options within this design.
All centre diamonds whether lab created or natural are certified. Gemstones are usually not certified, though this can be arranged upon special request for a small fee. Please contact me if you wish to have the gemstone in your ring certified.

Returns are accepted if you contact within 14 days of receipt. Made to order items are not eligible for a refund.
